Uniqueness of spatiotemporal location

LOCATION is a progression of points in space-time marked by a trajectory of its coordinates. It is a spatiotemporal representation (memory, map, record) of all specific locations of one’s body since its conception to the present moment. Human beings have evolved to experience and construe LOCATION relative to the surface of the Earth where each specific location (of the body) also includes other entities and events within one’s sensory horizon. Human body opens, creates and inhabits its own space delineated by the skin and only one body can occupy exactly the same location at the same time. LOCATION and the BODY co-construct each other and “are” one in  space-time . Each spatiotemporal location (of the body) (i) becomes a distinct locus and vantage point (perspective) of one’s consciousness and subjective experience; (ii) is experienced differently by others and (iii) is associated with official, societal markers (name, alphanumeric coordinates, public records, legal status) referring to it. Locations can be embedded (overlap), either fully or partially (e.g.  fetus inside of mother’s body, in a medical procedure or in sexual / bodily contact). As all entities move in space-time and the Universe itself expands, spatiotemporal locations, as they might be constructed by a particular “observer” experiencing it, “exist” in relation to each other and constantly change (in time), even though one is typically not aware of it, nor needs to be, in the everyday life.

Progression (trajectory) of locations in time brings one in contact with a unique sequence of distinct entities and events resulting in the formation of a representation (memory) of one’s EXPERIENCE and the development of a unique spatiotemporal timeline (identity), narrativized by one as “me”, “my life” or “my story”.

The LOCATION is “destiny”. Being born at a particular place at a particular time and their historical and cultural context, pre-determines a distinct vantage point of consciousness and experience and sets off a specific developmental pathway unfolding between conception and death, making each individual life uniquely different. There has never been nor will there ever be anyone else with the same spatiotemporal trajectory. Each individual trajectory may involve a unique sequence of  locations (addresses, geographical coordinates), a pattern of mobility (range, frequency, pace) and an ontogenetic sequence of cultural, subcultural and interpersonal contexts present at each spatiotemporal location. In death, the spatiotemporal body disintegrates but the trajectory of locations it has inhabited may continue indefinitely as memories of others and as public records (history).

Technology now allows individual tracking devices with high (GPS) accuracy, including audiovisual feed, to be attached to one’s body to stream live or track continuously all movements and co-located events in one’s life in the service of science, law enforcement, intelligence gathering, medicine, education, exploration or social media communication and entertainment. The significance of  LOCATION in everyday life is discussed further below.
